Wat Benjamabophit (Marble Temple)
Built in 1899 out of white Carrara marble, this is where the present King of Thailand, King Bhumibol, spent time as a monk before his coronation. As well as being a beautiful temple it is an active Buddhist Monastery. Taken by Thanate
Impressive. Really draws your eye and your curiosity.

Thai architecture just blows the mind with its clean lines and subtle colours. Great picture. Thanks for this and all the other great pictures.
