"I know this is an odd thing to take a picture of but I love the effect it has given. It looks like my washing is all folded neatly inside the machine here. It is in fact my ironing pile on the sofa but looking through a candle holder!". Taken by Jenne

"Translates as: The sky drowns the skinny bitch. Perra Flaca (literally "skinny bitch, as in female dog") is a shantytown trailer park where many migrant workers who work at area farming developments live. It's in more or less the middle of nowhere near Willcox, Arizona. It's where dreams are made and dreams die, all while the gringos are completely oblivious". Taken by Scrap Arcs

"Cloisonné originated, it is believed from Byzantium and spread via the Silk Road to China. Now most modern cloisonné enamelled work comes from the far east. When visiting Beijing recently I visited one of the largest factories and was blown away by the complexity and beauty of the work. The metal to be enamelled first has small fragments of metal filigree soldered to its surface and then the voids are filled with the enamel mixture. The work is then fired at high temperature in the kiln to complete the enamelling. This is the process I saw and photographed. Not much 'Health and Safety' was apparent". Taken by Michael
"On a trip to Moscow's new factory of the company I'm working for I was stunned by this light coming from a dark corner. The new factory had no ceiling light ready yet and the whole environment was dark where any sparkle from the tools in action would make a good photo. This one is the result". Taken by Quimdoporto
