The Long Stand
"I haven't been to Whitten Pond for a considerable time; this is usually a winter haunt of mine, the feeder streams seem to have dried up and it is scary to see how the water level is dropping". Hampshire, England. Taken by Romorga
Nice application of the two-thirds rule and good choice of aperture. I would have been tempted to go for a shallow dof on this shot, but the background clarity adds to the drama. You just need to Photoshop out that twig in the bottom left corner though - very distracting! :)
