Out of the Soil
"Ah Patrick! I owe this man so much… He has a farm 50 km from Paris where he grows all the vegetables he sells in the market. He loves his work, always smiles, knows all customers by name. Also he always gives you more that what you paid for, adds an apple, a few carrots in you basket. Sometimes I bring him strange vegetables from India, things he has never seen... He is very curious of agriculture over there, asks me a lot of questions. Mouffetard is like a village…". Taken by Elishams

What a beautifully candid photo! I love his honest, easygoing smile.
He does have an open face obviously thriving and healthy from eating all those veggies.
