Earth Drops

"The world in a drop of water. I've been asked how this was done. Easy: one flash on the left, aimed at the background, a NASA view of the globe. The flash was remotely fired, triggered by the onboard flash of my D300, which was set to produce no flash of its own. It took about 50 shots in order to catch one perfect drop". Taken by Jim Salvas - at the photographer's kitchen sink in West Chester, Pennsylvania

Amazing. I've done some waterdrop shots, but it took me more than 50 to get a good one.
