What a nice image for this blog. That harsh landscape would have made rather a dry image, but with the view from inside the bus you really get the picture that it is a part of the experience of some people somewhere else on planet earth.
I took this shot about halfway through a 10-hour ride and I had, for just a few moments, fallen asleep. Anyway, when I opened my eyes, this was more or less the view. The landscape was this rolling, glowing, yellow mass. For some reason, it looked even more beautiful from the other side of the bus! It was a surreal, lovely moment. So happy to have this picture capture it! And so honored to be feautured on A Photo a Day From Planet Earth. :)
Or ha ha, Planet Earth Daily...which is a much better title for this blog! ha ha :)
I like this photo. So bright yellow outside the window! Beautiful colors.
