Today we skied in thick fog and I suddenly noticed these 'terraces' of ice and snow just 5 meters above my head - and I instantly thought this could be a 'wannabe' avalanche. This is right above a busy ski route, so I wondered how this was allowed by the (otherwise so professional and efficient) Austrian operators of SkiWelt...
