Song Avenue

"This is a fairly typical side street in Havana, Cuba away from the tourists. It looks run down and in poor condition, but it is only like that on the outside. If you get a chance to go into one of these homes, the welcome is as bright as the decor. Everywhere is music. It is a fantastic place". Taken by Mike

"Because of the US embargo of Cuba it is difficult to get automotive parts and this means that old cars are lavished with much love and not treated as disposable items. The spin of is that all over the capital, Havana, one comes across these wonderful old American cars still rocking around the city with music blaring from the radios. A great place". Ché is Watching

"On a hilltop overlooking Havana, Cuba is a vast open square called Independence Square (Plaza de la Revolucion) which can hold over a million people at one of Fidel Castro's rallies. One of the buildings, the Ministry of the Interior, bears a vast portrait of Ché Guevara". Taken by Elliott
