Upon Elephant Mountain

"This was taken from Elephant Mountain just outside of Taipei. From here, it is possible to get a real perspective of the massive size of Taipei 101, until recently the world's tallest building. This elderly gentleman was doing the same". Taken by Dale

Great perspective! But Dubai Tower - even though it's not finished yet - already is the tallest building on Earth! That's amazing. Did you know that they build it in such a way, that it will be possible to make it even taller? (just in case some other place wanted to have 'the tallest construction on the Planet'). I really like your idea for a blog. I had similar idea when I created my site. Oh, and I live Che and Osama photo!

Yes, I do know about Dubai Tower; that's why I mentioned that it was until recently the tallest. It was interesting getting here right after that announcement; many people did not get the message right away and still tend to bill it as the tallest. I have ceased to offer corrections, because it is still a massive and impressive construction.

Thanks for all the comments :)

Yeah, it sure is impressive!

Can't wait to see what's going to be next, I mean after Dubai? Sky is the limit!

Awesome capture... although it seems this guy is almost at the same height. ;-)

The photographer does not look "elderly" to me. I guess that term is relative.

You're right. It is a relative term. I'm at a ripe 23 and may have used the wrong term. I was typing too fast, and intended a comparison, something that meant "older than I," and thus probably more experienced (his equipment much nicer than mine, and he had not moved into the darkside of digital. Apologies!
