Pomegranates for all

Instead of going to work/school today, we went for a day trip to Jerusalem, Israel. We went to the Old City and the Western Wall, but this photo was taken at the Muslim Quarter, where there's a market for all kinds of things (such as fruit, herbs, clothes, religious stuff etc...). These vivid-red pomegranates really caught my eyes, especially because of the background of the pale walls. Taken with an iphone by Better Nothing than Almost.

On the way to Eilat, most southern city in Israel, there are some great views of the desert and this part in particular is called the Ramon Crater. this road is very difficult and dangerous to drive, we drove there very slow, aprox. 30 km/h. Taken by Better Nothing Than Almost

Western Wall Tunnels

"This is part of an underground tunnel exposing the Western Wall in its full length. The carved stones in the bottom are original from the Temple... I walked there with a large tripod, it was awkward and uncomfortable but paid off! I wanted to capture the atmosphere of that special and interesting place with no additional artificial light". Ancient Olive Tree, Over 2000 Years Old

The Flow

"Israel, Galilee Land, Beit Netufa. Beit Netufa valley hosts the National Water Carrier, the main water project of Israel. Its main task is to transfer water from the rainy north of Israel to the center and arid south and to enable efficient use of water and regulation of water supply in the country. Early plans were made before the establishment of the state of Israel but detailed planning started only after Israel's independence in 1948. The construction of the project started during the planning phase, long before the detailed final plan was completed and signed in 1956. The picture was taken at 1800 feet above gound".
