The Temple of Kukulkan or Pyramid of Kukulkan, Cancun, Mexico, is also known by the name "El Castello", a term that was used by the Spaniards in the sixteenth
century, seeking some architectural similarity known in the European
continent. The current temple was built in the XII century AD , by
the Maya Itzaes in the ancient city of Chichen Itza, originally founded
by the Maya in the VI century AD.

Tiruchirapall
I spent a few days exploring the temples in Madurai and
Tiruchirappalli,
India (also known as Trichy). What an awesome experience!
Both cities are loud and chaotic places, but in the temples you'll
find an oasis of serenity and cheerfullness. Hindu people who come
here show a kind of devotion that is quite alien to me, but I did
enjoy the atmosphere a lot. You'll find pilgrims, families and
surprisingly few western tourists. There are places inside the temples
that are off limits for non-hindus, but I could explore large areas
(and the temples really are huge).

Shiny Thing
There aren't any fancy cars in our humble little street in Charvil, England. My son's M3coupe was as 'sporty' as it gets until a neighbour 2 houses down brought a Lotus... But a visit by something exotic like this is exciting for all the kids.
