"Kirkenes, the capital of Sør-Varanger municipality in the northernmost country; Finnmark, is located as far north-east as possible in Norway (70º north - 30 º east). The municipality has about 10 000 inhabitants spread over a territory of 3.670 km2 and borders both to Russia and Finland. The nature is different from the rest of Norway. There are many eastern plant-species growing in the municipality that are rare or non existent in other parts of Norway.
They have a Reindeer Park with a Lavvu or Sami tent: Of course walking around these tamed reindeer and feeding them (they eat reindeer moss) is exotic, even for a Norwegian". Taken by RennyBA

"Israel, Galilee Land, Beit Netufa. Beit Netufa valley hosts the National Water Carrier, the main water project of Israel. Its main task is to transfer water from the rainy north of Israel to the center and arid south and to enable efficient use of water and regulation of water supply in the country. Early plans were made before the establishment of the state of Israel but detailed planning started only after Israel's independence in 1948. The construction of the project started during the planning phase, long before the detailed final plan was completed and signed in 1956. The picture was taken at 1800 feet above gound". "A view of the city as seen from the heights north of Teheran, Iran (Persia). I took this photo from the heights outside the city, i.e. outside the polluted area. Therefore, it was possible to see both the smog and the clear sky. This is not the case inside the city.
