"The museum of art in the former capital of Germany, Bonn. I like the clear lines and areas, underlined by the structure of the concrete roof". Taken by Julia

"This is a picture of Agona, a small town in Ghana, a few miles northeast of the second largest city Kumasi. The long road in the picture is the Jamasi road that leads from Kumasi to Jamasi. The area is still fairly untouched, you can still experience the natural beauty of Ghana, away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities". Taken by K Owusu

The water taxis ferrying tourists and visitors around Zhou Zhuang Water Canal Town. These boats are the lifeline of the many water canals inside Zhou Zhuang, besides the footpaths and bridges to connect them. The lady coxswain was telling stories to the visitors and singing local songs and we can hear them from the top of the bridge that I took this photograph from". Taken by tangenghui
"In this picture you can see the west coast of Senja where the island meets the Norwegian Sea and next piece of land is Greenland. The waves can be massive if the wind come from the right (wrong?) direction. The mountain on the left is called 'Teisten'". Taken by Thomas

"Shropshire countryside pan composed from several shots covering 180 degrees merged in Photoshop. Shropshire is part of the Welsh Marches, so called because Marcher Lords once marched here, establishing their territory by fighting and building castles. It was all once part of Wales right up to the river Severn, but the English took away all arable land up to the Welsh mountains, and that's where the border is today complete with mostly ruined castles". "Common chickweed is an edible plant which grows everywhere and is flowering the whole year. It stops when it is freezing and then it can disappear, but there are so many seeds around the plant that when it is good weather again it starts growing. In summer when it's hot and dry it will disappear too and start again in autumn. Birds like the weed and we can eat it too as salad. There is a certain medical use". Taken by Wolverlei

"The day we dived the Great barrier reef off the East coast of Australia it was raining, but once we were in the water it didn't matter at all. We were only at snorkel depth but the sights were amazing, the corals, the jellies (yes they were about so we had to wear 'stinger suits') and the fish, everywhere we looked and in every colour".
