The Wall
"The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC, also known as the Wall, contains the names of more than 58,000 servicemen and -women who died or were classified as missing in action during the 20 years of American involvement in the Vietnam War. More than 25,000 items have been left at the Wall by family, friends, fellow veterans, and complete strangers. They're collected daily, and some are displayed at the Smithsonian Museum".
