forgetfulness

Somewhere in New Zealand. Well, I do remember that it was in the Golden Bay area which is in the South Island. I also remember that at the same place there was a rock called "Devil's Boots" because it was in the shape of a boot coming from the ground. so that's it. If anyone sees it and knows what's the name of this beautiful place, please share. Taken by Better Nothing Than Almost

Wharariki Beach

"[pronounced: fa-ra-ri-ki]

the most beautiful beach i've ever seen, so far.
it was low tide, so we could almost reach that arch by foot.
there were about 10 people at the beach, including us, which made it even more magical.

it was a wonderful day.

Golden Bay, New Zealand." Taken by Aviv

Arts in Bloom

"A photo of Christchurch in happier times. The wonderful Arts Centre, which used to be the University of Canterbury and now belongs to the city as a centre for arts, including craft workshops, cinema screens, a theatre and markets. It really buzzes at weekends, especially during the Festival of Busking". Taken by Caroline

Pōhutukawa Hanging Roots

"The aerial roots or adventitious roots of the gorgeous Pōhutukawa tree (New Zealand Christmas tree). Some Pōhutukawa trees are more prone to producing them than others.

The Great Barrier Reef

"This is the first of many photos from my three month trip to Australia and New Zealand. This is at Green Island, in the Great Barrier Reef.

The reef was amazing, like nothing I've ever seen and I wish I could go back. I went snorkeling on the reef about five times and it never got boring. My favorite sightings were a stingray, the giant clams, and something that I like to call a rainbow fish.

Let the journey begin!". Taken by Weisbrote

Follow the Path with Heart

"In early 2007, we joined a party undertaking a guided walk through the Greenstone Valley and Routeburn Track in Fiordland, South Island, New Zealand. On our “day off” we climbed to the tree line from where this photo of Lake McKellar was taken. We later ascended to the peak of '1538' named for its height in metres and then descended for a swim in the stream feeding the lake". Taken by Stewart Mann
