A Shark on the Meadow

"Port Meadow, Oxford, England is a large open space, perfect for flying kites and model aircraft. This orange shark kite took some getting up, but once it was up it fluttered wildly". Taken by English Granpa

On Guard!

"If you suddenly came across armed Saxon Warriors fighting in the grounds of the Oxford University Parks on a Sunday afternoon you might be a little worried. Until, that is, you quizzed them and found out that they are members of the Oxford University Historical Reenactment Society, also known as the Wychwood Warriors! Strange, takes all sorts...". Rest In Peace, Mo

"Mo, the sprocker spaniel, successfully deflecting my camera's attention from some horses...". Mo passed away yesterday. She was a magical being, and although we miss her deeply already we are so lucky to have had her in our lives. We wish her peaceful and safe passage to her next adventures. Taken by Rich

Jurassic Park?

"This tiny front garden area has been transformed into a play area and attraction in the district of Jericho, Oxford, England by the addition of many small toys laid out on the paving stones. It only requires a child's imagination to become almost anything in or out of this world". Photo by Michael

Oxford from on High

"I was lucky enough to be given a Balloon trip for a present. We passed over the centre of Oxford and were privileged to get a really special view of this historic city. This picture shows the mid-eighteenth century Radcliffe Camera, now used as a reading room for the Bodleian Library. In the foreground to the right is the University Church. The Camera sits in the centre of Radcliffe Square with Colleges of the University to the left and right. A Red bus going down the High is just visible". Taken by Michael
